Oksana Svizhak

Born in Lutsk, December 18, 1986 In 2002-2005. She studied at GHSSSH them. T. Shevchenko, painting department. In 2005 she continued her studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAOMA), in the workshop of Professor V. Gurin, from which she graduated in 2011 Since 2010, Oksana Svizhak is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2010 became the winner of the State Prize. M. Deregus in the field of fine arts (painting, graphics). She lives and works in Kiev. Conducts active creative and exhibition activities. Participant of Ukrainian and international art plein-airs, symposia (Poland, Lithuania, Serbia, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine) and exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany. Works in the field of painting and levkas.

Works are kept in the Art Museum in Lutsk;  Historical Archaeological Museum of the city Rzhyschev; in the Museum of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Kiev); in the Art Museum in Ostroda, Poland; Lee Ko Jean Museum, Beijing; Adjara art museum, Batumi,Georgia. And also in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, England, China, Serbia, USA, Canada.

From the artist:“Today, plein-air painting dominates in my work. The open-air for me is a prism through which a new vision, views and sensations develop. He gives me light, color, condition and inspiration to create. The new journey, the environment, creates its unique influence on the artist. And that means on his perception of reality, and it is no longer a transmission of reality and there is freedom of form, light and material. Given the emotional coloring, I am looking for new means to convey emotions and impressions. Light is the basis, it moves along the canvas, reveals an object, an image, fills the paintings with depth and power. Light is the most important thing what I want to give to people through my canvases. “
