Roman Selivachov was born in Kyiv on November 1, 1976.

In 1994 he graduated from the Taras Shevchenko State Art High School, in 1994 he entered, and in 2000 he graduated the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Faculty of Painting, Department of Restoration).

Since 1998 he has taken part in the “Integrated Urban and Landscape Heritage” seminars organized by the Krakow International Cultural Center, Krakow, and the Chief Conservator of Monuments in Poland. In 1999 he did an internship at the icon painting school of St. John, Peloponnese, Greece. Since 2006 he has been a member of the National Union of Artists.

Since 1994 he has been holding personal exhibitions and taking part in plein airs in Ukraine and abroad, as well as painting churches (for example, 2010-2013 – Work on painting the Church of St. Tatiana in Kyiv).

The artist’s works are stored in private collections in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Norway, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Georgia and the Netherlands.
